1929 Mask is a Singapore company producing reusable face masks that are water-repellent, designed for comfort, and treated with benzalkonium chloride (BAC), a chemical that can kill many bacteria and viruses.
We treat our masks with chemicals so that they have anti-microbial properties and are water-repellent. One of these chemicals is benzalkonium chloride (BAC) which is also used in hand sanitisers to kill bacteria and viruses. Testing for chemical safety has been carried out.
Our masks are three-ply, with the outer layer made of microfiber and 5% spandex. The centre layer is a blend of cotton and polyester that contains anti-microbial agents. The third layer is 100% cotton and absorbs moisture with ease for greater comfort.
Our masks have been tested for anti-microbial properties by Bureau Veritas and achieved a bacteria filtration efficiency (BFE) of 95%.
We only have one size for kids: 20cm long and 11.24cm wide.
